He then contested the Carrera Cup support races at the Australian Grand Prix meeting where he took two outright wins and a third placing. To gain such experience in this purpose built race car in front of big crowds and television audiences has been invaluable to Matt’s profile and career.

Together with racing the Porsche GT3, Matt also assists Porsche New Zealand and International Motorsport with driver training days throughout the country in association with Giltrap Prestige.
